Looking east as the moon climbs over the western coastal range casting its lonely light across the multi colored Monterey bay was a scene etched into my mind.
The excitement of capturing the night in paint is always a labor of love as they can not be painted wearing a headlamp or other lighting source to view palette colors. These paintings must be completed by close observation, taking notes and memory alone.
