There's nothing like skiing in the backcountry in the middle of winter or very early spring.
The solitude, crispness of the air and the feeling of gently flying as you glide over velvet sun drenched snow. It is also extremely inspirational in the making of paintings!
My goal for this piece was to capture the cold, cold, cold and that is exactly what I got! What a joy to relive the day!
