This the first in an upcoming series of drawings and paintings depicting early music. Using myself as the model and a generous amount of imagination should prove interesting to say the least.
For those of you that are interested the instrument in this sepia drawing is an oud which dates back five thousand years and is the first complex stringed instrument.
